Having worked for over 10 years as a property manager and a typist for various inventory companies across the country, I decided to transfer the experience, knowledge and skills that I had gained to set up my own inventory company.
I have seen many basic and poorly completed inventories, which leave both the agents and landlords in a difficult situation, when trying to make a genuine claim from a tenant's deposit. I have worked hard to ensure that Toogood Inventories provides a professional, efficient, reliable service, aimed at making everyone's lives easier. I am very proud of the product and service that myself and my team provide.

During my career in both residential sales and lettings spanning several years, my knowledge and experience of both industries expanded, providing me with an excellent understanding of both sets of legislation. Lettings can be a gutsy business and I found exercising general logic and common sense were often the key to success and a satisfactory outcome for both landlord and tenant.
I have a genuine interest in property, so this role is perfect as I get to see an array of different property, along with gaining a real sense of achievement conducting property visits and compiling various reports.

I have been involved in property as a landlord for 20 years +, seen many changes and legalisation come in to force. I've been through arbitration a couple of times and understand the need for clear and accurate inventories, check outs and the importance of the check-in for tenants.
This job brings the joy of varied, interesting and unusual properties, some of which have stunning views. The team at Toogood Inventories is highly professional and fun to work with. I am very lucky to say that I enjoy my job.
